Recharging my batteries. The hustler’s way 🚀

Just recently I came back from a long weekend retreat with tech startup I joined. 3 days offline in the lake county, with plenty of face to face time instead of Zoom.us, sport team activities instead of team sprints in Jira, singing and chatting at the bonfire… To distributed teams such an offline time is the luxury that allows for great bonding and slowing down for a brief, yet memorable, moment. Thanks for that, Tomek! We’re up to great things with codebeat, I believe🚀.

Someone there asked “what do you do for fun? In your free time…I mean, how do you recharge your batteries after work?” No judging, right? I looked into the bonfire and shared what drives me. I found out something about myself that evening. Something worth sharing, so here we are ☺️

I’m neither intro nor an extravert. I’m sort of both. I do my most creative job focused when working from home. I’d choose learning online over studying in a classroom anytime. Daily meditation is as important as cycling and mindfulness walks in nature. It’s the introvert, bookworm part of me. Yet to recharge my batteries, I go out to the world. I take part in hackathons, meetups, volunteer at tech gatherings, conferences, summits, you name it. The long days filled with event preparations, actively engaging in all sorts of operations during the conference, learning by doing, getting inspired by workshops, talks and networking with the fascinating talented tech crowd is my take on FUN. Every time I come back rejuvenated, filled with new ideas and motivations.

I realise my time is my personal equity, so to speak. So I tread carefully, cherry picking the events I can’t imagine missing to be an ambassador for. Leade.rs Paris was one, unforgettable, life changing experience. Loic Le Meur, thank you again for this opportunity! I cherish greatly the friendships I made and what a profound change the conference brought to my mindset and my life altogether 💗.

To complement that Leade.rs experience I joined SaaStock team this year. I got impressed by the professionalism of the cofounders Alexander and Kumy. SaaStock17 is going to be big 🚀! The lineup of speakers, the separate 1 day bootcamps for CEOs, Sales, Growth and Customer Happiness people, guest investors from all over the globe… and all this backed by helpful content, articles that prepare you for the event, so every attendee can benefit as much as possible from being part of #SaaStock17. Mind blowing, right?!

I’m sure the networking part won’t be a disappointment either🥂. What else can you expect from such a friendly team. Looking forward to be part of this SaaS gathering in just 8 days time. If you’re joining us at SaaStock, reach out via the app, I’d love to have a chat over coffee or a pint of Guiness with fellow SaaS hustlers. See you there?
